Can I set up a TV without a phone?

In the guide the subscription comes from a phone. In HAPP for TV you can also send it from a computer through the tv.happ.su site.

Where do I get the 8-character code?

INCY shows it on the TV screen next to the QR code once the app is running.

Why does the hint on the TV lead to Settings?

The "Send to TV" item is in the three-dot menu on the subscription card in INCY on the phone, not in settings.

Which TVs are supported?

TVs and set-top boxes on Android TV with Google Play. There is no guide for other systems.

Why you need a phone

Typing a long link on a TV is awkward, so you add the subscription on your phone and send it to the TV screen. This works in two apps: INCY and HAPP for TV.

The guides in your account are made for Android TV. There is no separate guide for TVs on other systems yet, in that case write to support.

Connecting through INCY

1Get access and choose the "Android TV" device in your account.
2On the TV open Google Play, find INCY and install the app.
3Install INCY on your phone from the App Store or Google Play, copy the subscription link in your account, open INCY on the phone and tap "Paste".
4Open INCY on the TV: a QR code and an 8-character code appear on the screen.
5In INCY on the phone tap the three-dot button on the subscription card and choose "Send to TV". Point the phone camera at the QR code or enter the code from the TV screen.
6On the TV choose a server with SMART in its name and press the connect button. If the TV asks for permission to connect the VPN, tap "OK".

Connecting through HAPP for TV

If sending the subscription through INCY does not work, install HAPP on the TV from Google Play. On the first screen tap "Share via Web", then on a phone or computer open the tv.happ.su site, enter the code from the TV screen in the "UID (device identifier)" field, paste the subscription link in the "Data" field and tap "Send data".

If HAPP is already set up on your phone, you can send the subscription with a QR code: in HAPP on the phone tap "+", then "QR code", point the camera at the TV screen, choose the subscription and tap "Send".

SMART servers pick the route themselves, and Russian websites and services open directly.
