Which app to choose

The main apps for Android are HAPP and INCY. Both take the subscription with one tap and support SMART servers with automatic route selection. If HAPP does not suit you, install INCY.

Google Play may be unavailable. In that case the guide offers a Happ.apk or Incy.apk file with the second button. Other clients install the same way: the guide lists v2rayNG, Hiddify, Karing, v2RayTun and more, but SMART exists only in HAPP and INCY.

Install NekoBox only from GitHub: since May 2024 the Google Play version is controlled by a third-party developer and its code is closed.

How to connect Android step by step

1Get access: take the free trial or pick a plan, then sign in to your account.
2In your account open the device connection section and choose Android.
3Tap "Install HAPP" or "Install INCY" and install the app from Google Play. If Google Play is unavailable, download the APK with the second button and open the file.
4If Android blocks the installation, allow installing from this source in settings, go back and tap "Install".
5Tap "Add subscription" in the chosen app and confirm opening it if the phone asks. If INCY shows an import window, tap "Import".
6Choose a server with SMART in its name and press the big round button. Android shows a VPN connection request: tap "OK".
7If HAPP asks to allow notifications, allow them: without them the subscription does not update in the background. If INCY asks to allow background work, tap "Allow" so the VPN does not disconnect.

If the app did not open or does not connect

Tap "Did not open? Add manually", copy the link and paste it in the app: in HAPP with "From clipboard" or "+", in INCY with "Paste". Then choose another server from the list.

If you still cannot connect, backup links are in your account and support works in Telegram.
